Obituary of Stella Margaret Moorehead

MOOREHEAD, Stella Margaret Passed away peacefully at Ridgeview Nursing Home on Wednesday, April 29, 2009, in her 91st year. Beloved wife of Jack Moorehead of Stoney Creek for 66 years and cherished mother of Thomas and his wife Kathleen of Streetsville, ON, Sherry and her husband Wayne Gibson of Ottawa, ON. She will also be sadly missed by her grandsons, Stewart of Coal Valley, Ill., USA and Jason and his wife Catherine, as well as her Great-Granddaughters, Jordyn, Avery and Leah of Georgetown, ON. Survived by her sister Jean Dodds of Toronto, and predeceased by her brother Donald Millar (Dorothy) and Elizabeth Jackson. We would also like to thank the nurses and staff at Ridgeview for their kindness and excellent care shown Stella during her stay with them. Visitation will be held at DONALD V. BROWN FUNERAL HOME, 36 Lake Ave. Drive, Stoney Creek, on Friday, May 1 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at the Funeral Home on Saturday, May 2nd at 2:00 p.m. Interment will take place at the Brampton Cemetery on Monday, May 4 at 1:30 p.m. Online condolences may be sent at www.donaldvbrown.ca
