Obituary of Robert Arthur Morris

MORRIS, Robert Arthur (Art) Born in Saskatchewan on August 13, 1922, passed away suddenly at Eastgate Square while among friends, on Friday, March 23, 2012, in his 90th year. Beloved husband of the late Shirley Easson. Loving father of Michael and his wife May of Midland, Linda Syring and John Easson both of Hamilton. Dear grandfather of Melissa Morris (Sean Corkery) of Penetanguishine, Nichole Morris of Midland and great-grandfather to Isabella and Quentin. Dear brother to Beatrice Morris. Predeceased by siblings Nelson Morris, Mabel Morris, Margaret Harron, Stella DiPaolo and Jean DiCenzo. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Art was retired from Westinghouse after 43 years of service. He was a Veteran with the R.C.A.F. and a Member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 58. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek, on Thursday, March 29 from 2-5 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, March 30, 2012 at 1 p.m. Cremation to follow.
