Obituary of Petar Mrksic

MRKSIC, Petar Passed away peacefully, at Victoria Gardens Nursing Home in Hamilton, on Saturday, January 26, 2013, at the age of 83, with his family by his side. He leaves behind, his loving children, daughter Danica and her husband Rade, sons Stojan and his wife Dragana and Milan and his wife Karen. He also leaves behind 9 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Will also be missed by many cousins, nephews and nieces in Ontario, Serbia and Croatia and also Kumovi. Petar was a long time employee of Stelco Canada. The family wish to extend a special thank you to all of his caregivers and staff at Victoria Gardens for their care, kindness and compassion. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek, on Monday from 6-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel, on Tuesday, January 29 at 11:30 a.m. Interment Woodland Cemetery.
