Obituary of Howard Mayhew Murray

MURRAY, Howard Mayhew Peacefully on Friday, January 27, 2012 at West Lincoln Memorial Hospital in his 99th year. Loving husband of the late Thelma and the late Rose. Loved father of Sharon and Douglas Copping, Dianne and Steven Townsend, father-in-law of Heather Murray and deceased son Wayne Murray. Grandfather of Susan Griffith, Carolyn Ebsary and Glenn Farnsworth, Darlene and Dino Cerino, Diana and John Baja, Doug Copping (Shirley Todd), Sally and Tom Corson and Sarah and Brian Forde, Also great grandfather to 13. Howard was a retired employee of National Steel Car with 42 years of service. Special thanks to the terrific staff at Maplecrest Retirement Home and staff at West Lincoln Memorial Hospital for all their care. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek, on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will take place in the Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, January 30, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. Interment to follow at White Chapel Memorial Gardens.
