Obituary of Geraldine (Gerry) Nicholls

NICHOLLS, Geraldine (Gerry) Peacefully at Shalom Village on Thursday, February 17, 2011, in her 87th year. Beloved wife of the late Roy Nicholls. Will be greatly missed and always remembered by her children John and his wife Barbara, David and his wife Florence, Sylvia, Janice, and Penny. Will remain in the hearts of her fifteen grandchildren and twenty-six great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her brothers Charles Gowland (Ada), Douglas Gowland (Peggy) and sisters Lou Thomas (Ted) and Phyllis Elliott (Jack). Cremation has taken place. Special thanks to Shalom Village, Dr. Alan Taniguchi and their caring staff who provided exceptional care to Mum during her stay. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Monday from 7-9 p.m. where a Memorial Service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, February 22, 2011 at 1 p.m. followed by interment of the cremated remains at Ker United Church Cemetery.
