Obituary of Donna Irene Nickerson

NICKERSON, Donna Irene (nee Mundell) After a courageous 12 year battle with cancer we announce the passing of Donna Nickerson on Saturday, January 29, 2011 in her 69th year. Beloved wife of Gord Nickerson. Cherished mother of Larry (Judy) and Randy Tuck. Step-mother of Kim (Bob), Lynn (Dan), Susan (Howie). Beloved grandmother of Larry, Scott, Brandi, Racheal, Kara (Chris), Laura, Matt, Dan, Hailey, William and great-granddaughter Rylyn. Survived by many nieces and nephews. Loving sister of Wendy, Bonnie and Doug. Predeceased by siblings Marilyn and Don. Special thanks to all of the palliative care staff. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek, on Tuesday from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, February 2, 2011 at 12 noon. Interment to follow at White Chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
