Obituary of John Arthur Nobes

NOBES, John Arthur (Jack) Born May 10, 1920 Died June 26, 2008 Peacefully at the Hamilton General Hospital. Beloved husband of Lucille Amelia Picot for over 68 years. Loved father of Arthur John and his wife Joyce, Larry George and his wife Darlene, Marilyn Joyce Benson, and Shirley Anne Summers. Loving grandfather of 7 grandchildren and his great-grandchildren. Dear brother of Isabel Doner (Lloyd) and Dorothy McFarlane. Predeceased by siblings Norman, Flora, Russell, Charlotte, Percy, Irvine, Albert, Stanley, Alice, Clifford and Lois. Survived by many nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the DONALD V. BROWN FUNERAL HOME, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Sunday from 1 - 4 p.m. where funeral service will be held in the chapel on Monday, June 30th at 10:30 a.m. Interment at Mountview Gardens.
