Obituary of Ernest Osmond

OSMOND, Ernest Peacefully at the Juravinski Hospital surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday, July 31, 2013, in his 88th year. Beloved husband of the late Margaret Osmond (July 2012). Cherished father of Fred of Stoney Creek, Doug and his wife Evelyn of North Carolina, Gary and his wife Dianne of Stoney Creek, and Joan Carey and her late husband John of Grimsby. Loving grandfather of 7 grandchildren and 9 great- grandchildren. Dear brother of Don, Roger and Mildred. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek, on Thursday, August 1, 2013 from 7-9 p.m. Cremation. A celebration of Ernest’s life will be held at Wesley United Church, Hwy 8 and Fruitland Rd., Stoney Creek, on Saturday August 3, 2013 at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers memorial donations to Wesley United Church would be greatly appreciated.
