Obituary of Earle Packham

PACKHAM, Earle - The Good Lord came and put His arms around Earle and took him home peacefully, at the age of 85, on Wednesday, September 26, 2007. Earle Arnold Packham, beloved husband of Audrey Packham for 33 years and her children Marlene Eberle (Ron), Lorraine McDonald (Scott), Rick Torch (Dale) and the late Jessie Packham and her children Marjory Carmichael (Ron), Norman Williams (Jean) and Kenneth Williams. Loving brother of John Packham (Ann), Leta Ballantyne (Alfred), the late Irene Gilmore (Cecil), Marion Miles (Alfred) and Kenneth Packham (Loma). Grandpa also leaves behind cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Earle will be sadly missed by all of his friends at Tuesday card games, frequent golf games and the Congregation of Fulton United Church. Special thank you to Dr. Higgins, the nurses and staff of St. Joseph's Hospital for their excellent care. Friends will be received at the DONALD V. BROWN FUNERAL HOME, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, October 1, 2007 at 10 a.m. Interment Waite Cemetery, Caistor Centre. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
