Dear Diane,
I was shocked and saddened to read of the passing of Kenny.
He was quite the character, always made me laugh. It was a pleasure to serve your extended family weekly at the restaurant. Your group always brightened my mornings.

Here’s the thing: We thought we were free spirits but Kenny was likely the only one who could really lay claim to being one. Whatever he was doing, it was always what he wanted to do. And no matter who was there, they were the people he wanted to be with.
I don’t know if there’s a heaven and if there is I can’t say if that’s where he’s gone. But such theological/philosophical speculations kind of miss the point. Kenny made wherever he was paradise. And those who spent time with him were lucky enough to share it. And that’s why we will forever envy you Diane.

Diane, Cheryl and I have always enjoyed your company.
Kenny was easy going and fun to be around.
64 is too young.
We know you will miss him dearly.
Unfortunately we are on vacation out of town and will not be able to attend the "Celebration of Life".

Dear Diane. I was so sorry to read that Kenny succumbed to his battle with cancer on April 1st. I have often wondered how the two have been fairing. Producing and working with you on Mount Albions' production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dream Coat was a dream for me and a wonderful moment.
Narrator: Some folks dream of the wonders they'll do before they're time on this planet is through. Some just don't have anything planned, they hide their hopes and their heads in the sand. Now I don't say who is wrong, who is right. But if by chance you are here for the night, then all I need is an hour or two to tell the tale of a dreamer like you.
Narrator: We all dream a lot. Some are lucky, some are not. But if you think it, want it, dream it, then it's real.
The stories that you shared about your life with Kenny demonstrated that the two of you never stuck your heads in the sand; you lived the dream and were lucky to have had each other.
