I have recently learned of Mel's passing and wanted to send my condolensces. I worked for Mel at the Diner back from about 1997 - 1999.
I enjoyed working for Mel - he was fair, easygoing, and had a great sense of humor!
I also loved hearing him singing and playing his instruments.
I have thought about him a lot throughout the years and my husband and I are saddened to hear of his passing.
