Obituary of Margaret Ruth Pearce

PEARCE, Margaret Ruth (nee Gilvear) With sadness, we announce the passing of Ruth at the Queens Garden Nursing Home, on Monday, September 13, 2010, in her 87th year, after having lived most of her life in Stoney Creek. Beloved wife of the late Sid Pearce. Loving mother of William Whitehead and his wife Marion, Wayne Pearce and his wife Kris, Tom Pearce and his wife Marlene, Jennifer de Groot and her husband Ed and predeceased by son David. Dear grandmother of 12 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Tom Gilvear. Predeceased by brothers Harry, Lloyd, and Norman. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek, on Thursday from 7-9 p.m. (Due to Road Construction, please drive North on Second St. and turn right on Charles St).
