My fondest memories of my aunt Freda were the times I would take her and my mother (her sister Lucille) for a days outing. We would start early in the morning and come home in the afternoon just in time for their nap but not before we stopped for lunch and especially for dessert and coffee.
Since my father passed away aunt Freda and my mother were always together shopping, eating, bus trips, eating, train trips, eating, visiting family, eating and laughing at nothing as sisters do.
My aunt Freda was a kind and gentle soul. She made lemonade out of lemons when it came to life. She believed in God and she used the Bible's teachings through her daily routine. She loved her children and grandchildren with all of her heart. She was a good woman.
One by one the sisters and the brothers passed and one by one they gathered at the heavenly gate waiting for the others to arrive. Today they are together and the laughing and silliness can begin again. God Bless them all.
