Obituary of Nora Madeline Platt

PLATT, Nora Madeline Gone home to be with her Lord, Nora Madeline Platt passed away peacefully at the Juravinski Hospital at the age of 96, with her family by her side on Monday, August 12, 2013. Predeceased by husband Ernest (1979) and grandson Keith Allen (1998). Beloved mother of Dorothy (Allen) Townsend and Don (Yolanda) Platt. Loving grandmother to Coreen (Ted) Neal and great-grandchildren Cole and Ryan. Nora is survived by her sister Thelma Clark. A special thanks to the staff at Idlewyld Manor for their excellent care of Nora. Visitation will be held at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Wednesday from 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, August 15, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. Interment to follow at Hamilton Cemetery.
