Obituary of Frances Magdelina Purdy

PURDY, Frances Magdelina (nee Schmidt) December 30, 1931- November 26, 2010 Peacefully after a lengthy illness, Frannie flew to be with “Her Lord” on Friday, November 26, 2010 at West Lincoln Memorial Hospital, Grimsby. She is survived by her loving husband Bill (aka`Dad`), daughters Jo-Ann (Dave), Judy (Frank), sons Mike (Kim), Marty (Colette), Matthew (Laurie), Lee (Karen), Peter (Jan), 22 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by daughter Pamela, her brother Frank and parents Michael and Yustina Schmidt. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held at Centennial Park Baptist Church, 11 Kennedy Rd., Grimsby, on Wednesday, December 1 at 1 p.m. Interment Queenslawn Cemetery, Grimsby.
