I had the great pleasure of meeting Jake this summer his cousin James brought him to the cottage for a spin on the Jet Ski's, what an inspiration he was he was not feeling very well but that didn't stop him from taking a few laps
out on Lake Erie, may you find comfort in knowing he is no longer in pain. Strength to you all Thelma.

Within minutes of meeting him, he told me everything I needed to know -- he was so calm and wise. A true "cool" teen.. an old soul.. I felt as though I had befriended him before. our condolences to natalie, frank and claire for the loss of jake. I never really got to know jake but my younger brother was good friends with him. they loved to go on dirt bike rides and always had a great time. Jake will always be in our hearts.

I had the privilege of having taught Jake and remember that he won the Eastdale Citizenship award the year he graduated. Jake was so deserving and so humble when he received this recognition.
