Obituary of William (Bill) Larry Richardson

RICHARDSON, William Larry (Bill) December 14, 1944 – November 23, 2011 It is with great sadness we announce the peaceful passing of Bill at the age of 67. Beloved husband of Frances for 47 years. Loving father and friend of Bill (Jodi), Bobby (Suze) and Brian (Jennifer). Proud and amazing grandfather of Andrew, T.J, Spencer, Joshua, Chloe and Ella. Predeceased by his parents George and Evelyn and siblings Richard and Catherine. Much loved brother of George (Shirley), Barb (Paul), Shirley (Mike), Jack (Lorrie), Jim (Linda), and Linda (Moe). Dear son-in-law to Jim and the late Ruth Dores and brother-in-law to Gerry and the late Pat, Jim and Kathy and Rose and Tom. Loving uncle to many nieces and nephews. Bill touched many lives with his humour, his fun loving ways and his infectious laugh. Many thanks to Dr. Bill McMillan and staff at the Juravinski Cancer Centre. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Sunday from 1-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, November 28, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. Interment Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Juravinski Cancer Centre would be appreciated by the family.
