Obituary of Jean Yvonne Seager

SEAGER, Jean Yvonne (nee Melick) Peacefully at St. Peter’s Hospital on Friday, September 23, 2011, one day before her 83rd birthday. Beloved wife of Robert (Bob) for 63 years. Loving mother and mother-in-law of Kathleen and husband Paul Bradley and Elaine and husband Pat Boyd. Cherished grandma to Matthew. Dear sister of Bernice Gulliver (Dick) and Beth Barker (Fred). Predeceased by brothers Harold (Barbara), Jerry (Betty), Murray (Cleo) and sister Lola (Cliff). She will also be missed by her life long friend Betty Fallis. Jean retired from the Hamilton-Wentworth Regional Police Department in 1991 after serving for 28 years as the Secretary of the Saltfleet Division. Cremation has taken place. The Funeral Service will be held at The Church of Our Saviour The Redeemer Anglican Church, Lake Avenue South, Stoney Creek on Thursday, September 29th at 10:30 a.m. A private interment will take place later at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
