Obituary of Gwendolyn Elizabeth Blankstein

BLANKSTEIN, Gwendolyn Elizabeth (Betty) Passed away at Henderson General Hospital on Sunday, January 10, 2010 in her 80th year. Beloved mother of Laura Comer. Dear sister of Bob and his wife Lois Holmes. Dear aunt of Rebecca Shannon (Dennis), Tamara Youngberg (Jason), and generous great-aunt of Kessler, Rachael, Kieren, Quinten, Declan and Peyton Shannon and Esme and William Youngberg. Gwendolyn was a dear “mom” to Donna Blaschuk. She will be missed by her cherished companions Misty and Murphy. Gwendolyn had an interest and love for being a volunteer with Hamilton Police Services Ottawa St. Community Policing Centre. Cremation has taken place. Funeral Service will be held in the chapel at White Chapel Memorial Gardens on Thursday, January 14, 2010 at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at White Chapel.
