Obituary of Helen Shinkar

SHINKAR, Helen (nee Zarek) After a life lived for Jesus, Helen, in her 91st year, gained her eternal reward and went home to be with her heavenly Father on December 7, 2012. Helen had a servant heart and a profound influence on those whose lives she touched. Devoted wife of the late John (1983). Loving mom of Anna (Dennis) Pinner, Michael (Kathy) Shinkar, Paul (Elvira) Shinkar. Precious Grammie of Katie, Andrew (Lindsay), Adam, Nathan and Amy. Friends will be received at Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Monday December 10, 2012 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. A Celebration of her Faith Journey will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, December 11, 2012 at 10 a.m. Interment to follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
