Obituary of Bruce Simpson

SIMPSON, Bruce Passed away at St. Joseph’s Healthcare on Monday, January 2, 2012 at the age of 60. Devoted and cherished husband who will be fondly and greatly missed by his wife Freda and step-daughter Emalee. Dear brother of Richard (Jo-Anne), Carol Breurkes (Ron) and Julie Major (Gilles). Beloved uncle of Dawn, Amanda, Derrick, Shawn, Lynzie and many great-nieces and great-nephews. Predeceased by his parents Richard (Dick) and Beatrice and his older brother Sandy. Special thanks to the staff at St. Joseph’s Healthcare for their patience, understanding and their excellent care over the years. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, January 6, 2012 at 1 p.m. Cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Joseph’s Healthcare West 5th Campus, or Alzheimer Society would be greatly appreciated by the family.
