Obituary of Anne Sklair

SKLAIR, Anne Born July 31, 1926 in Glasgow, Scotland. Died peacefully on Friday, February 1, 2008, at St. Joseph's Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of Samuel for 59 years. Sam and Anne immigrated to Canada on the Empress of France in 1953. They settled in the east end of Hamilton to raise their children. A final move to Stoney Creek in 1972 provided Sam and Anne with their final home where Anne loved to garden each year. Cherished mum of Irene Taylor (Jack), David (Karen), and Debbie Goldston (Scott). Loving nana of Becky, David, Nathan, Lauren, Melissa and Maegan. Long time friend of May Lizotte. Anne will also be missed by many family and friends. A private family memorial service will take place at a later date.
