To the family of David Smith:
We have just heard today of your loss, after phoning the insurance company. We were shocked and saddened to hear of David's passing. Dave was our long-time rep at Milmine, for about 20 years. He was great to talk to and always tried to do his best for us.

Dear Mary, Kerri, Alex & Jarrett:
I consider myself very fortunate to have had the opportunity to work with David. He was an amazing co-worker but an even more amazing person. I find it hard to put into words how much I truly admired him. His compassionate and caring nature surpassed anyone I have ever known. He was devoted to his business but you, his family, meant everything to him. He was so very proud of all of you and his beautiful granddaughter Finleigh.
You are in my thoughts and prayers and I wish you strength to see you through the days ahead.

I had the pleasure of working with David at Milmine Insurance for 4 years, from 1996 - 2000. Although I had never worked in the industry before, he was extremely patient and supportive as I learned the ropes. He was a terrific mentor with a great sense of humour. When I left Milmine to work in Mississauga, it was with a heavy heart - I knew the hardest part of going was that I would no longer be working with David.
He will be greatly missed and I'm so very sorry for your loss. My thoughts are with all of you.

Having only been at Milmine for 1-1/2 years, I was proud to say that I worked for Milmine Insurance and it was an honour working for David. Thank you for your kindness, compassion, generosity, patience and friendship.
David, even though you are not with us at Milmine your presence is remembered and respected each and every day.

David will be missed very much, although I only knew him for a short time he made a lasting impression on what kind of person I want to be in business and life. He was so helpful, kind and so generous. I would have liked to have had years to learn from him.

David - I will be forever greatful for all that I've learnt from you over the years and more so I will cherish your friendship in my heart forever.
