Obituary of Jack Somerville

SOMERVILLE, Jack At the Henderson Hospital, on Friday January 29, 2010 in his 92nd year. Beloved husband of the late Dorothy. Loving father of John and his wife Anne of Ottawa, Jim and his wife Carol of Puslinch, David and his wife Elizabeth of Beamsville, Dorothy Somerville of Grimsby, Dianne and her husband Wayne Genders of Niagara Falls. Lovingly remembered by ten grandchildren; Aaron (Fiona), Katie, Kelly (Marc), Steven (Karl), Matthew, Andrea (Dawn), Danielle, Michael (Chiharu), Wade and Olivia, and great-grandchildren; Zoe, Hannah, Logan, Rhea and Kiah. Predeceased by his Sisters; Mae, Ida, Lena and Vera. Also survived by his nieces and nephews. Jack was a Veteran of WW II having served with the R.H.L.I. and was an avid hockey player and fan for many years. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Tuesday from 2-4 p.m. Cremation will follow and there will be no Funeral Service.
