My dear Pearl I know how your heart is broken, I so recall the night I was at the lanes and there you and Ken where both arms around me and expressing your love in the loss of my husband. The Monday nights and the hello my dear always brought a smile. Watching you and Ken together the love you shared and the roads you travelled together will remain in your heart for enterinty. It was an honour to have known Ken and Pearl my arms are stretched to you and I will hold you in my prayers and thoughts.
To Karen and her family from all of the Youth Bowlers and Coaches we send our love and embrace you each with hugs. I know how much each of you loved him and was witness one night at the lanes as they showed their love to their Poppie and Nan. My love to each of you. I know he will be watching over each of you as he always did. He will be forever in your hearts and thoughts.
Farewell my friend until we meet again. God Bless

You were the center of this family Poppie. It hurts to think of what things will be like without you here with us, but I know that your spirit will never leave our sides. God took you from us for reasons that I don't understand, but they are reasons that I trust. I love you with everything I have Poppie. and someday we will all be together again.

My Dad was a very special man. His love for his family was incredible and he always put us first. He loved our Mom beyond belief. We were with him at the end, just as we've always been there for him. He knew he was always surrounded by love that knew no end. He will always be in our hearts, and I will miss him so very much. Say Hi to Gramps and Al. We'll all be together again someday. I love you Dad...

Uncle Ken, I will miss you so very much and it hurts me to know that I never got there to see you and I am so upset with myself for that. You and Aunt Pearl have always treated me like I was your own son and you were there for me like a dad to his son.....You will be missed by so many people and we will all continue to keep your memory alive and strong.....My heart goes out to you and Aunt Pearl, Kenny, Billy, Eddy, Charlotte and Karen.....I will always be here for all of you.....Uncle Ken you were and are a first class friend, father, uncle, poppie and husband and of course an all around person......I know you are up there golfing away and from this day forward, whenever the thunder roars that is no longer the gods bowling but it is my Uncle Ken golfing his perfect game.......I love you Uncle Ken......Johnny

Poppie is my Grandfather and there never was and never will be anyone like him. He was one of a kind and I'll never forget him. His loss is beyond devestating to his family and all those that loved him, and many, many, people did. Poppie has been more than a Grandfather to me, he has been a friend too and I love him very much. When I told him that, he said "that's what Grandfather's do". He was a wonderful person who was always there for his family and his loss will always be felt. I was very lucky to live with him and Nanny for the last three years as I got to see them all the time. Poppie and I were very close and always joked around. He always had something to say to keep us smiling. When I'd get home from work, he'd say "Hi Darling, how was your day?", and even if it was bad, I'd feel better after talking to him. He had that way with people. I love him very much and always will.

My dear, dear Ken - we didn't know you were soooo sick, dear. We were going to come and see you this weekend! I am crying as I write this, I cannot imagine Pearl without Ken, anymore than I can imagine Ken without Pearl. Neither can I imagine a tree without leaves, or a bird without feathers. . . .
I love you my dear, dear, brother-in-law.
To my beloved Pearl, I am so, so sorry. Trev and family sends their love and thoughts and want me to express their sorrow. But how can I when I cannot even express the depth of my sorrow . . .

Dear Charlotte and Al, Linda, Crystal, and Heather,
I'm so sorry to hear about the loss of your Poppie. I'd met him on various occasions over the years and I learned very quickly how special he was to all of you.
I know how much you're going to miss him. I also know that your Poppie would want your family to come together and celebrate the time you were able to spend with him. Keep his memory alive and support each other, and please know that I am always here for you too.
Love, Heather
