Obituary of William (Bill) Edward St. Jean
ST. JEAN, William Edward (Bill)
1933 – 2010
It is with the deepest of sorrow that we announce the unexpected passing of a wonderful husband, father and ‘Grampy’ on Friday, April 9, 2010 at the age of 77 years. Cherished and loving husband of Jean (Hamilton). Generous father of Debbie (Jim Farrell) and Gordon. Predeceased by his cherished daughter Cindy and parents Fred and Lillian St. Jean. Bill will be sadly missed by his siblings Joan, Fred Jr., and Paul. Bill was born on November 1, 1933 in Kirkland Lake (Goodfish), Ontario. A miner, a welder and a business man, Bill was a generous soul with a heart of gold. He loved telling stories, and expressing his opinion on everything. His greatest enjoyment was found in hard work, giving back to his community, and spending time with his grandchildren Mac, Sam and Jordan. Bill was an inspiration to all and will be greatly missed by his wide and wonderful circle of nieces and nephews, friends and fellow Kirkland Laker’s. His love for us will always be with us; his stories in our memories and his lessons in our hearts. Friends and family are welcome to come together and share memories at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Wednesday, April 14, 2010 from 2:00 p.m. until the Funeral Service at 3:30 p.m. A Memorial Service will also be held in June in Kirkland Lake, Ontario. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Foundation would be appreciated. Online condolences may be made at www.donaldvbrown.ca
