Obituary of Gerald Edward Stefanson

STEFANSON, Gerald Edward Suddenly on Monday, January 14, 2013 in his 73rd year. Beloved husband and best friend of 52 years to Evelyn Mae (Carrigan). Cherished father to son Ron and daughter Connie (John). Loving grandfather to Alexis, Vanessa, Avalon and Jonny. Brother of Lorne (Carol), and pre-deceased by father Ed and mother Edna. Will be missed by many relatives, friends and Birchwood Acres campers. Gerry retired from Taylor Steel and spent 22 years with Direct Winters; he was also a long-standing member of the RHLI veterans club. Deepest thanks to emergency crews, staff of the Hamilton General, and Donald V. Brown Funeral Home. A Celebration of Gerry’s Life will be held Sunday, January 20, 2013 from 1-4 p.m., at the RHLI (1353 Barton St. E.). In lieu of flowers, donations to the Salvation Army would be appreciated.
