Obituary of Bogdan Stojanovic

STOJANOVIC, Bogdan Passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 14, 2011 at Juravinski Hospital in his 76th year. Beloved husband of Milica of 47 years. Loved father of Jelena and her husband Milan Kosanovic, Savka Stojanovic and Djuro Stojanovic. Cherished grandfather of Diana and Sanja. Predeceased by his parents Milan and Jeka Stojanovic and brothers Jovo Poznic and Djuro Stojanovic. Will be missed by siblings Daco Stojanovic and his wife Sofia, Savka Vrcelj and her late husband Rade, Mira Srdic and her husband Milos, Toso Stojanovic and his wife Maca, many nieces, nephews, kumovi and friends. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Pomen 7:30 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, December 16, 2011 at 1 p.m. with the Very Reverend Father Vojislav Pavlovic officiating. Interment Mountview Gardens Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Juravinski Cancer Centre or St. Nicholas Serbian Orthodox Church would be appreciated by the family.
