Obituary of Mary Strecker

STRECKER, Mary (1913 – 2008) We mourn the loss of our mother, Mary Strecker who passed away peacefully, in her 95th year at St. Peter’s Hospital. Beloved wife of the late Michael Strecker, and beloved mother of the late Bill Strecker. She is survived by her children John (Joy), Elizabeth (Harold), Chester (Elaine), daughter in law Helene, ten grandchildren and twenty great grandchildren. The family is grateful for all the care provided by all the staff at New Village Retirement Home for 7 years; Dr. R. Ambis, the doctors and nurses at the Hamilton General Hospital, and the staff on 2 west of St. Peter’s Hospital. Family and friends will be received at the DONALD V. BROWN FUNERAL HOME, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Thursday, September 18th, from 2-4 and 7-9p.m. Parish prayers on Thursday at 8:45 p.m. Funeral Mass at St. Francis Xavier Roman Catholic Church (Corner of King Street and Queenston Road, Stoney Creek), on Friday, September 19, 2008 at 10 a.m. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
