Obituary of Mona Grace Taylor

TAYLOR, Mona Grace (nee Tate)1916 - 2012 It is with sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our Mum, Mona, just a few days after her 96th birthday on Thursday, April 26, 2012 surrounded by her family. Predeceased by her beloved husband George (1971). Loving mother of Donna Henning (John), Rev. Dr. Ernest Taylor (Carol), Shirleyann Bastable (Paul), Gerry Taylor (Berta), and Gail Henderson (Michael). She will also be missed by her adopted daughter Linda LeCheminant. Survived by her 13 grandchildren Tom Evans, Steve Evans, Rob Evans, Cheryl Storer, Michelle Markham, Matt Taylor, Nadine Cooper, Carolyn Laidman, Scott Miles, Kim McDonald, Wendy Taylor, Geoffrey Henderson, Lynnette Luffman and 26 + 2 great-grandchildren. Also survived by her brother William Tate. Predeceased by her brother Embury Tate, sisters Cecile Corin, Mildred Barlow, Asenath Arnold and sons-in-law Harold Cooper (1970) and Ross Evans (2002). As with Mum's wishes, a private family gathering was held and cremation has taken place. A private family interment of her ashes with our Dad will be held at a later date.
