Obituary of Henry Tischhart

TISCHHART, Henry It is with great sadness that our family announce the passing of Henry, in his 78th year. Husband for 51 years to Freida and father to Richard (Joanne) and Sylvia. Loving "Opa" to Ashley, Nathan and Kurtis. Henry retired from Stelco after 37 years of service as a welder and was a long time member of the Continental Austrian Club. A devoted husband, father and "Opa", he will be missed by family and friends. Friends will be received at the DONALD V. BROWN FUNERAL HOME, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Friday, April 18 from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Saturday, April 19 at 1:30 p.m. Cremation will follow. The family wishes to express their thanks to the Hamilton Fire Department and EMS. Special thanks to Dr. G. Curnew and all the staff and Chaplain at the Hamilton General Hospital for their compassion and support during this time. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
