I send love to Sue and the Vaudry's and Eady's families at this very difficult time. Ernie was a dear friend and part of our group. His passing will leave a big hole in our group which never can be filled. He will be greatly missed not just by me but by everyone who knew and loved Ernie. Once you got to know Ernie you couldn't help but love him for the kind of person he was. May he rest in peace.

Ernie has been a big part of our family for the past 22 years. We loved how much he cared about everyone. He loved our Children and they loved him a lot. We will miss you Ernie. You were a very special person, we love you.

Ernie hit the nail on the head as far as being a good person in this life that we live. Ernie is an example that nice people matter. Everyday people appreciate that small courtesies matter. Fatima and I are proud to have known Ernie for his kindness and good humour. We will miss him always.
