BOYD, Arthur (Dick)
On Wednesday June 11, 2008 in his 90th year, with the Lord and his loving family by his side, Arthur entered into eternal peace. Much adored husband to Ann (Wey) for 62 years. Loving and dedicated father and grandfather to Rick (Virginia, predeceased), Brittany, Steffany, Montana and Raider, Terry (Tracy), Dylan and Dallas, Glenn (Marilyn), Shana, Trista and Kayla, Keri (Mark), and great grandson Logan. To be reunited with first grandchild Lisa. Survived by sisters Eva (George), Nora (George), brothers Clifford (Eleanor) and Billy (Linda predeceased). Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Arthur was a World War 2 Veteran serving 5 years overseas and then an employee of Dofasco for almost 40 years. He was also a long standing member of Paramount Drive Alliance Church. A special thank you to the wonderful staff at Macassa lodge, especially Jennifer. Also thanks to the staff of the Henderson Hospital. Arthur will always be remembered for his sense of humour and most importantly his loyalty. “When our children no longer seek our advice, they still value our love. Dad and Grandpa, we will never forget everything you taught us and will love and miss you forever. Friends will be received at the DONALD V. BROWN FUNERAL HOME, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held at Paramount Drive Alliance Church, 1035 Paramount Drive, Stoney Creek on Tuesday, June 17 at 11 a.m. Interment White Chapel Memorial Gardens.
