Mrs. Wall was my grade 8 teacher at St. Martin of Tours in Stoney Creek back in '86. She was very good at motivating each of the students, even the one's that needed more of it (that would be me). God Bless you Mrs. Wall, you will be missed.

My deepest condolences to the family of Mrs. Wall - she was my grade 8 teacher at St. Francis Xavier school. I always admired her as a teacher, she was tough but fair. She well prepared me (and am sure many other students) for high school and life itself. She will be missed.

I am so sorry to hear about Mrs. Wall's passing. She was the best grade 8 teacher ever. She always pushed me in English especially but in other areas as well. She was always strict but had a genuine care for her students. She was well dressed and she had a smile on her that lit up the room. I still got to see her around Stoney Creek and she still got her hair done with Erma who is my godmother. I will always remember you, it was a pleasure to know you throughout my years at St. Martin of Tours school. Now, you can watch us from above. I will cherish the importance of what you meant and brought to my life everyday and pass it on to my daughter. love always Vanessa xoxo

Shirley and I worked together at St. Francis Xavier together. She was the ultimate professional who gave all of herself to her teaching and to her coaching. We had many good times together planning grads and going to Ottawa with the kids. Her History students knew the answers to every question in detail.
I will miss her deeply. My family and I extend our deepest sympathy to you and Shirley's family.

Ken we are so sadden to hear of the passing of Shirley, she was a wonderful lady full of life. We enjoyed all our times together. I will miss sharing a Black Russian with her on Christmas Eve, but I will think of her often when I'm indulging in our favourite drink. God Bless
