Obituary of Irene Warburton

WARBURTON, Irene It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Irene, at St. Joseph’s Hospital, on Sunday, September 2, 2012 in her 94th year. Daughter of the late Fred and Laura (nee Hirst) Sullivan. Predeceased by her brother Jack (Jeanne) and sister Vera. Loving wife of the late Ernest. Cherished mother of Judy Niamat. Devoted grandmother of Chris (Debbie) and Paul (Trish). Great-grandma Reene will be missed by Brody, Lanya and Steven. Aunt to many nieces and nephews in the Sullivan, Warburton and Saunders families. Irene was a friend to many. Special thanks to the staff of Clarion Nursing Home and the four special nurses of 4 West at St. Joseph’s Hospital. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Wednesday from 4-8 p.m. Vigil prayers 4:30 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Francis Xavier Church, 304 Hwy. 8 Stoney Creek, on Thursday, September 6, 2012 at 10 a.m. Cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Diabetes Association, CNIB or the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
