Obituary of Robert Ward

WARD, Robert Peacefully on Saturday, May 24, 2008, at the Henderson General Hospital in his 67th year. Beloved husband of Marlene for 38 1/2 years. Loving father of Jennifer (John), John (Denise), Steven (Kim). Cherished grandfather of Melissa, Shay, Shawn, Justin, Hunter and great-grandfather of Isaac and Zayne. Survived by his brother Roy, sisters Shirley and Caroline. Brother-in-law of Fred Gibson and Karl Hambleton. Will also be missed by many nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the DONALD V. BROWN FUNERAL HOME, 36 Lake Avenue Dr., Stoney Creek on Monday and Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Wednesday, May 28, 2008 at 1 p.m. Interment to follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
