Obituary of Gladys Teresa Wasilik

WASILIK, Gladys Teresa (nee Papiez) June 17, 1918 – August 1, 2008 Peacefully and very much loved, Gladys passed away at West Lincoln Memorial Hospital on Friday, August 1, 2008. Predeceased by her loving husband Stanley (1978), brothers Stan and Joe and sister Nora Murzin. Survived by her children Pam and David Minnick, Wayne and Janice Wasilik and Gerry and Cathy Wasilik and by her grandchildren in Ontario, British Columbia and England. She coped with her illness and passed the same way she lived life, with honour and dignity. Thank you to the nurses and doctors at West Lincoln Memorial Hospital and special thank you to the doctor, nurses and caregivers at Stoney Creek Lifecare Centre – You’re the best!!! Friends will be received at the DONALD V. BROWN FUNERAL HOME, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Tuesday, August 5, 2008 from 11-1pm followed by the Funeral Service at 1pm in the chapel. Cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family.
