Obituary of James Stanley Welsh

WELSH, James Stanley Peacefully at the Hamilton General Hospital, on Sunday, January 6, 2013, in his 86th year. Beloved husband of the late Pauline (nee Carder). Loving father of Gary (Sigrid) and Linda (John Bland). Loving grandfather of Eric, Nicholas, Natalie, Justin and Sarah. Predeceased by his brother Ross. Dear uncle of Marilyn Roberts and the late Donna Powell. Jim was the proprietor of Welsh’s Meat Market, Stoney Creek for over 25 years, was a salesman at McLeod Motors and Taylor Chrysler, and a member of the Stoney Creek Men’s Club. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Wednesday, January 9, 2013 at 10 a.m. Private family interment to follow.
