Obituary of Irene Widdup

WIDDUP, Irene (nee Metcalfe) Peacefully at Arbour Creek LTC. Irene was born and raised in Blackpool, England and passed away on Sunday, October 30, 2011, in her 92nd year. Beloved wife of the late George Widdup. Dearly loved mother of Charles (Chuck) and his wife Linda, Katherine (Kathy) and her husband Rick Nash. Loving grandma of Kristin (Al Schouten), Mark, Geoffrey (Dana), Paul, Elizabeth and great-grandma of Lexie and Brooke. Dear sister of Charles Metcalfe (Hazel). Predeceased by her sister Amy Round. Family and friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek, on Wednesday from 6-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Thursday, November 3, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. Cremation to follow.
