Obituary of Ruth Wilkinson

WILKINSON, Ruth It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Ruth Wilkinson, peacefully at St. Peter s Hospital on March 11, 2008, in her 89th year. Predeceased by her loving husband Charles. Dear Mother of Carol Nelson (Carson) and John (Julie). Lovingly remembered by her granddaughter Heather. Predeceased by her grandson Mark (Mindy). Special great-grandmother to Jordan and Brianna. Ruth is survived by her sister Gladys, age 101. Ruth was a long time resident of Stoney Creek and in recent years of New Village Retirement Home. The family wishes to express their sincere thanks for the wonderful care given to Ruth at New Village and briefly at St. Peter s. She will be missed by her many friends at the Retirement Home. Ruth enjoyed life and never missed the opportunity for a Euchre Game. Family and friends will be received at the DONALD V. BROWN FUNERAL HOME, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where funeral service will be held in the chapel on Friday, March 14th at 1 p.m. Interment Mountview Gardens.
