Although I am saddened deeply by Vera's passing, I know for certain she in the arms of her beloved Al and living in the Grace of God. I will always cherish the memories of loving Christmas parties together. The fun. The joy. The really, really bad renditions of some truly lovely Christmas carols. And the tarts. And the pies. The smiles, kisses and hugs. What loving memories we all have to recall, like Christmas presents themselves. You can unwrap one at a time and hold it in your heart until you put it away for another time. I am blessed that I kew Vera and Al. Without them both, my life would never have been complete.
