Obituary of Muriel Wilson

WILSON, Muriel Peacefully, on December 14, 2011 at Idlewyld Manor, surrounded by her loving family, in her 96th year. Beloved wife of the late Wilf (1997). Loving and devoted mother of John and his wife Lynne and the late Janice (1960). She will always be remembered by her cherished granddaughter Jen. Auntie Midge will be forever missed by her special nieces and their husbands; Marion and the late Bill Neil, Lorna and Chuck Johnston, Bev and John Turner, the late Yvonne and the late Jack Kempf and their families. Muriel is predeceased by her sisters Eva, Dorothy, Lou and her brother Orville. Muriel worked for Dr. Ted Chagnon and Dr. Frank Robinson for over 30 years. Friends and family will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek, on Friday, December 16, 2011 from 2-5 p.m. A Celebration of Muriel’s Life will be held at Delta United Church, 47 Ottawa Street South, L9K 2C9 on Saturday, December 17, 2011 at 11 a.m. As an expression of sympathy, donations to Delta United Church would be appreciated by the family.
