Obituary of Muriel Rose Wilson

WILSON, Muriel Rose The Lord has peacefully taken Muriel Rose Wilson on Tuesday, July 20, 2010 in her 87th year. She will be lovingly remembered by her children Pam (Hazen) Taylor, Colleen (Al) Ritter, Harold (Susan), Laura, Elaine Erskine and Dorothy (Terry) Sinclair. She will be dearly missed by her grandchildren Mark, Rebecca, Shayne, Patricia, Heather, Laura, Danny, Kyle, Sean, Amanda, Rebecca, Rachel and her 8 great-grandchildren. Fondly remembered by her nieces and nephews. Survived by her sister-in-law Nedra Johnson. She is predeceased by her husband Reynard and her sisters Della, Jessie, Daisy and twin Violet. Muriel will be remembered for her strong faith in God, her years of devotion to her children and grandchildren and for the many years of service with the Salvation Army and in later years, with Garside Bible Church. Friends and family will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at Garside Bible Church, 47 Garside Avenue N., Hamilton on Friday, July 23, 2010 at 1 p.m. Interment Woodland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
