Obituary of Marilyn June Worron

WORRON, Marilyn June The family are saddened to announce the passing of a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Marilyn June (Frank) Worron, losing her hard fought battle with breast and bone cancer on November 3, 2012 in her 80th year. Left to mourn is her loving husband and best friend, William Worron, of 61 years. Cherished mother of Gary (Sharon). Treasured grandmother of Jason (Natalie), Reneé, Janelle (Brandon), Adam (Sherry). Devoted great-grandmother of Téah, Charline, Emric, Jillian, Ethan, Adalynn and step-great-grandson David. Predeceased by parents Clare and Lillian, parents-in-law Bill and Marion and sister-in-law Marion Morse. She is survived by her aunt Mrs. Isabelle Felstead of Niagara Falls, her many cousins and cousins-in-law, brother-in-law Fred Morse (Jean), nieces Marion (Terry) and Debi, nephew Rick (Paulette), 2 great-nieces, 6 great-nephews and great-great-nephew Jason. We would like to thank the staff and tenants of the Meadowbrook. Her many friends and mall walkers of Eastgate Mall, who stood behind her during her hard fought battle and encouraged her every day. We would also like to thank Paul and his staff at Shoppers Drug Mart, Dr. Wooder and staff, Dr. Tozer and Dr. Gudelis and the staff of TD Bank, Stoney Creek. Marilyn loved doing crafts, baking and bowling. She spent 30 years with YBC Bar Don Lanes and was voted into the Hamilton District 5 Pin Bowlers Association Hall of Fame. She was so proud of the reward. Cremation has taken place with a private family service to follow. Donations to the Cancer Society or the SPCA would be appreciated Donald V.
