Obituary of Jennie Yaworski

YAWORSKI, Jennie (Marusaik) Peacefully on Sunday, January 27, 2008, at the Henderson Hospital in her 84th year. Predeceased by her husband of 60 years, Joseph Yaworski, her son Roy and her brother Michael. Survived by brother Brownie (Janet). Dear mother-in-law of Mary Lou and loving mother of Ed (Mary), Eugene (Linda), Joseph Jr. (Zina) and William. Devoted Baba of Media (Sean), Stephan (Shellie), Lori, Tony, Debbie, Trevor (Tara), Jason (Debra), Kelly (Caroline), Yelena (Dave) and Joseph III. Great-grandmother of Ashley, Jessica, Spencer, Xavier, Keaira, Jordan, Stanton and Victoria. She will be sadly missed by her sister-in-law Jean and many cousins, nieces and nephews. Jennie will be fondly remembered and missed by her many friends at the Winona Peach Festival, the Winona Horticultural Society, the Order of the Eastern Star and the Winona Senior Ladies Exercise group that she led twice a week for 20 years. Jennie received the Stoney Creek Volunteer of the Year in 1998. Friends will be received at the DONALD V. BROWN FUNERAL HOME, 36 Lake Avenue Dr., Stoney Creek on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Prayer vigil on Wednesday at 7 p.m. and Order of the Eastern Star service at 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, Highway #8, Winona on Thursday, January 31 at 10 a.m. Interment Tapleytown Cemetery.
