Obituary of James Brown

BROWN, James (Larry) Peacefully in his sleep, while vacationing in Southampton, on Sunday May 18th 2008 in his 77th year. Cherished husband of Anne (nee Marshall) for 53 years. Loving father of Douglas (Alison), Laurel (Rick Waldick), Michael (Mary Perrone) and David. Much loved grandfather of Zachary, Kirsten, Erica, Julia, Ryan, & Adrien. Survived by his brother Alex of London, Ontario. James will also be missed by many other family, friends and colleagues from his career with Red-D-Mix/Lafarge. Cremation has taken place. Friends will be received at the DONALD V. BROWN FUNERAL HOME, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek, on Wednesday May 21st 2008 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held at Wesley United Church (corner of Highway #8 and Fruitland Rd.) on Thursday May 22nd 2008 at 11:00 a.m. A private family inurnment will take place at a later date.
