So saddened to hear of Ken's terrible illness and death. We taught across the hall from each other at Burkholder Middle School for many years. I will always remember his cheerful disposition and quiet way with the students. He had a great sense of fun and truly enjoyed teaching. I'm sorry to hear that he was unable to enjoy much of his well-deserved retirement years. My sincere condolences to all his family at this time.

Dear members of the Buckle family I personally wanted to let you know that your husband/ Dad was a very great and influencing teacher. He was the first one to show me that I could do anything I put my mind to 48 years ago and he was right! (ending my career as an educational assistant). He always stayed in my thoughts through out the years. I am so grateful that he was my teacher. I always wanted to find him and tell him so! But little did I know, that I would meet his daughter in a different, but wonderful way! Now may my teacher, Mr. Buckle rest in peace. May his family rest and recover from the MSA experience and may his grandchildren blossom and grow. It has been a pleasure knowing your Dad and I look forward to many long years of friendship to come. God Bless you all at this time and may he wash away your sorrow. Ken Buckle is finally at rest with the battle done.
