Obituary of Audrey Isabelle Burns

BURNS, Audrey Isabelle Peacefully on December 10, 2012 Audrey Isabelle Burns (nee Green), 79 went home to be with the Lord. Beloved wife of Rodell for 59 years. Loving mother to Rodell “Rod” and Kim (nee Lillycrop) Burns of Hamilton; Gregory and Gail (nee Chalmers) Burns of St. Catharines. Cherished grandmother of Isaac, Abigail and John-Morgan Burns. Predeceased by her loving sister Dorothy Collingwood (nee Green). Audrey loved nothing more than being at home; the home Rodell lovingly built 60 years ago on land from her parent’s farm. The view of her gardens from the kitchen window was her favorite place to be. Visitation will take place on Monday December 17, 2012 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek. A Memorial Service will be held at Bethel Gospel Tabernacle, 1355 Upper Wellington St. in Hamilton on Tuesday December 18, 2012 at 11 a.m.
