Obituary of Mary Wilson

On Tuesday, December 31, 2013, at the Hamilton General Hospital, Mary “Maisie” Wilson passed away to be with her beloved husband William “Bill” (2005). Maisie is also predeceased by her son Alan (1949) and daughter Irene Hipkiss (2013). Proud mother of Gordon (Debbie Markowski), Brenda Wilson (Benoit Fournier), and Richard Hipkiss. Loving grandmother to Annette Paprocki (Ed), Sean Hipkiss (Taryn), Michael Wilson (Sarah), and Christopher Wilson. Also a proud great-grandmother to Sierra, Alec, Rachel, Caitlin, Liam and Kirstyn. Maisie is survived by niece Elizabeth McKeen (Fred), brother-in-law Charlie Black, as well as many other nieces and nephews in Scotland. Maisie worked at Niagara Co-Axial Cable for over 30 years for Norm Curry. Friends will be received on Thursday, January 2, 2013 from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek, with a Funeral Service to take place on Friday, January 3, 2013 at 10 a.m. in the Funeral Home Chapel. Interment to follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Ontario Federation For Cerebral Palsy or the charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated by the family.
