Obituary of Vera Anne Carey

Unexpectedly at the Hamilton General Hospital, on Monday, January 6, 2014, in her 69th year. Beloved wife of Richard. Daughter of the late Veronica and John Paul MacKinnon. Loving mother of John Paul and his wife Heather and Kelly Lawrence and her husband George. Cherished grandmother of Matthew Lawrence and Sarah Lawrence. Dear sister of Priscilla O’Toole, Rosemary Poirier, Barbara McNeil, Sarah MacVicar and predeceased by sisters Rosamond, Eleanor, Pauline, Teresa and brother Aloysius. Also survived by nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek, on Friday, January 10 from 11 a.m. until the Funeral Service at 1 p.m. Interment Mountview Gardens.
